December 4/5th, (cluster to highlight achievements on alumni, reflection of past, present and future of anthropology), RSVP required! 9am-5pm both days. Look at Bulletin for more details.

December 5: Part of the Century. 7pm-1am, $10 for students and $25 for adults

March 12/13th: Tucson Festival of Books

              *Volunteers needed

October 31: Viva la Loco at Rialto Palk Racetrack (Food Festival!), 4051 1st N Ave, 9am-5pm

 

General Announcements:

Keep an eye out for our new bi-weekly newsletter to be sent out every Sunday via email.

We will potentially have a tour of the pottery lab with Dr. Hasaki, stay tuned.

Fundraising ideas include Jamba Juice, Pizza Studio, the Fix, Campus Candy, Scented Leaf. Have any suggestions or ideas? Email our tresurer Rawan!

BioAnth mentor office hours have been set up for Tuesdays 3-4pm in Haury.

Explained

        --- Mission: Promote awareness of dangers of palm oil farming in Southeast Asian environment, promote sustainable palm oil market

        --- Future Event: “Can-Struction” for dry food in cans, constructing giant orangutan
